CHILD, ADOLESCENT AND ADULT PSYCHIATRIST
Dr. Nainaparampil (“Dr. J”) graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his residency training in general psychiatry at the University of Florida (UF). After finishing residency, Dr. Nainaparampil continued training at UF to complete his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is certified in both General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He is also an active member of the American Psychiatric Association, The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and The Florida Psychiatric Society. Dr. Nainaparampil is a staunch advocate of mental health awareness; he facilitated (and performed in) the theatrical production: Inside OCD: I am not my illness. The performance premiered at the Squitieri Studio Theatre in Gainesville, FL and was presented at the 2018 International OCD Foundation Conference in Washington, D.C. and the 2019 American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Nainaparampil believes in holistic and compassionate care, and he frequently utilizes psychotherapy as well as psychotropic medication to ensure the best outcomes for his patients.
